Slish Wood

From Irish Climbing Wiki

This crag is situated in Slish Wood Forest on the south side of Lough Gill (Grid Ref. G740309, Sheet 25, Collooney).

Approach on the Sligo-Dromahair road L117 and leave cars in the car park. Walk south along the trout stream for 500 metres to the obvious slab.

The rock is Gneiss (not nice!) with quartz intrusions. Although three routes are recorded here it is difficult to see any more than one line up the centre of the slab, either side being quite vegetated. Don't get too excited!
