The crag is to be found below the lookout tower on the headland that guards the north-western extremity of Portacloy Bay, near Benwee Head, North Mayo. Park at the Portacloy Pier, ford a stream and head towards the tower. Just beyond this is an abseil stake - which you ignore and walk down the west side of the headland to the top of a small prow of rock. Scramble steeply down from this to ledges, some distance above the sea. Traverse L along these to the tip of the head. The crag is around to to the L. It has only one route so far.<br>
