Carrig na Ceag

This small crag is in Altnaheglish Glen in the Sperrin Mountains, abot 5 - 6 km to the south of Dungiven. Take the access road to the reservoir: just after passing some buildings, the glen narrows and the crag can be seen high up on the other side of the river.

This is an obvious zig-zag crack line moving R from an inverted 'V' at the centre of the crag. The crux is at the bottom.

Bee-Line 10m VS 4b

Starts at the same inverted 'V' as 'Magicrams' but goes straight up on small holds.

The Sting 10m HVS 5a

1m L of 'Magicrams': climb the steep wall just R of prominent ramp, to gain top of same. Climb cracks above and move R to finish.

This climb gains the cracks of 'The Sting' via the easy ramp (no grade given).

R of 'Magicrams' is a recessed wall. Take the L-hand corner until it curves R-wards forming a small roof.. Climb the overhang on good jugs at the first weakness and continue to the top.

This route takes the R-hand corner of the recessed wall.
