Wicklow Head The following climbs are taken from New Climbs 1977.
Exploration along the coast from Brides Head to the north of Wicklow Head and south to Long Rock has yielded a number of possible climbing areas but very little follow-up action has been taken. A number of traverse sections have been made on either side of the lighthouse.

Crab Crack 50ft. VD
Approach: from the lighthouse walk to the south for about 100yds., just before a semi-detached green pinnacle beside the next point. Abseil from stake into wide flake crack. Belay at sea level.
Climb the crack to finish up onto grass.

Seal Slab. 200ft. (max) S.
Approach: from the point about 150 yds. south of the lighthouse, locate a grassy ramp leading down to the south side of the point: about 50 ft. above the sea.
1/. 80ft. Descend diagonally into the corner, past an overhung slab/niche to sea level.
2/. 120ft. After crossing the wave-cut gully climb the slab/corner, move L and up steep grass to the top.
